I live in Novy Urengoy and the second new car has the same problem: new batteries (including Varta 580901080) are absolutely unsuitable for the cold regions of Russia. At temperatures below -30C freeze under "0". On the wart, the voltage remained 6V from the charged 12V. For the northern regions, I recommend purchasing a battery marked "for extreme temperatures", it is usually -45C to + 60C

I wanted something new, I chose this battery. at the time of purchase, the run-up in price was only 1,500 rubles. Instead of electrolyte, there are absorbed mats. And it can even be turned over. Now with such a price tag, few people will go to such experiments.
