Advantages:
The screw was brought in yesterday, installed in the EliteBook 820 G2. Naturally, it is premature to talk about any statistics and reliability, but: - 2 TB in a laptop - inspires; - here many wrote that the noisy one didn’t notice, although I don’t complain of hearing loss; - very cold - copied data to it from an external disk for 4 hours, the temperature did not rise above 38 degrees.

I'll wait a couple of months, watch the work and buy other laptops. If you need a large volume, and the speed is rather secondary, then IMHO it is the most.

Advantages:
A good screw for storing information as an additional disk, enough space for most.
Disadvantages:
As a system one will not work ... slow compared to an SSD. Given that this is a mechanic, there are no downsides.

About wheezing and squelching as they write here. Gentlemen, this is a mechanical disk ... and inside there are moving parts, a carriage. The mechanics are always noisy ... because. the carriage moves, the discs are spinning. This is normal. Want some silence? - Buy an SSD.
